Super Bowl Snacks For The Food Allergy Sufferer

Monday, January 26th, 2009

The Super Bowl is almost here. We are busy buying the snacks, drinks, and paper plates needed for the party.  For 3 hours or more most of us will be eating while watching the game.  Check out my recipe section for ideas on “Safe and Sane Recipes for the Super Bowl”. We all want to enjoy ourselves during and AFTER the game.

Gastric Reflux and My New Years Resolution

Monday, January 12th, 2009

For the year 2009, I have chosen to try and help individuals with Gastric Reflux. What I hope to do is: first, provide information to those with the disease that will help prevent it. Secondly, suggest methods of eating that will help alleviate the problem. Lastly, provide enough information and help that will stop the need for the millions of pills that are being taken daily for this disease. So periodically throughout the year I will be giving updates on the newest research and findings about Gastric Reflux. One example being the newest research on Gastric Reflux and it’s relationship with wheat sensitivity.  Doctors are now suggesting to their patients to remove wheat from their diet. This is easier said than done. My book and other wheat-free/gluten-free books can help you follow this diet. I will be providing more information in the future.
